Missouri is the oldest doe in my herd, and just look at how gracefully she's aged. Nicknamed for the state that she was born in, and coming from one of the best breeders in the world of NZ kiko goats, Missouri is a fleshy, large framed doe who is aging exactly the way a well-bred kiko should. This high headed gal looks amazing for a senior doe and has a perfect udder after 7 kiddings. Missouri is going to take my NZ program to the next level, and I intend to retain a doeling out of her for as many kiddings as she offers (I anticipate several more productive years).

Here I go again, lucking out by acquiring top genetics directly from Wes Pinneo of B Bar W Kikos in Kansas; Pinneo's are renowned in the Kiko industry, consistently producing buck test winners and top production does. This gorgeous blue girl is no exception to what B Bar W Kikos produces, with size, bone and color being her most obvious highlights. We'll see what she has to offer when bred to ZVA Brass Tacks for March kids.

I took an immediate liking to Friday the moment she was born, and she's continued to grow and mature into an elegant, graceful young lady. Friday's dam has had the best parasite resistance of any goat to set foot on the farm and never had a total egg count higher than 11 (that's right, eleven eggs total) on any FEC. At her young age, I have yet to run a FEC on Friday, but her beet red FAMACHA has never wavered. Friday's sire, Red Fox, is also remarkably resilient in any setting. Friday will pass on the legacy of both her sire and dam when she has kids of her own in February, sired by Brass Tacks.

I had a buyer lined out, and a deposit was made on Tugboat when she was just two weeks old. As I watched her grow out, I was having serious regrets that I'd offered her for sale; at her 60 day weigh-in, Tugboat was 39.8 lbs with an ADG of 0.56! Still though, she was promised to a new Kiko breeder. When the buyer backed out, I was secretly celebrating my opportunity to keep this shining star in my herd. Tugboat is in the top percentile for ADG, and has a compact, densely muscular build. She's also got ELH Blue's Son, LRF Pango Hua, BWP Speckle's Kincaid, GHK Cherokee Fiddler, COO Iron Horse and TNT Raiz'N'Kane genetics to back her up.

Percy is my extra special, "special needs" girl; I purchased her mom, Cricket, already bred but didn't have an exact breeding date.  3 days after bringing Cricket home, she unexpectedly kidded twins (premature by +- a week according to vet). Because Cricket was new, she was in the quarantine pen which is not "kid safe", so Percy slipped through the bars of the pen before even being cleaned by mom and certainly before getting colostrum. I approximate she was 19-22 hours old by the time I found her (thinking mom only had a single buckling). Percy was on the edge of death for her first 3 weeks of life, with multiple vet visits, tube-feedings around the clock, infections and fevers, and ultimately, is blind in one eye. She's a fighter though, and as long as she didn't give up, I wasn't going to either. Percy is full of life and an inspiration to us all!

I hit the jackpot when I acquired this gorgeous girl who was otherwise going to be retained by her breeder at Da'Did Farms in WA. This lovely quad had an outstanding 90 day ADG of .43, but what's even more impressive was her yearling weight of 124 lbs! Millie is currently my largest doe with an open weight of  180 lbs. Her pedigree, which includes CCR Moose, Blue's Son, Goatex Terminator and Goliath's Keeper, is just the icing on the cake. This remarkable young lady has always birthed and raised top gaining triplets withe ease. I'm expecting another set of triplets in the spring sired by Jr. herd sire DDF Smoking Gun.

Donna is truly one of the most well-rounded does ever to set foot on the farm! She's just a beautifully built, long bodied, full and fleshy gal from tried and true Lookout Point bloodlines.  Donna is my 2nd largest kiko doe @ 176 lbs open, and doesn't lose an ounce of condition while raising her kids. She's got an absolutely beautiful udder and perfect teats that will hold their form for years to come. I retained Donna's 2023 doeling (below) who will be proven this coming spring, making these genetics a foundation in my Purebred program.

Alder is turning out to be the perfect balance between her momma's length and level topline, and her sire's mass and bulk. As a twin from a first time mom, she's gaining nicely and looks to be a beautifully built, well-rounded, pretty (not so) little thing. Alder has maintained the highest ADG post-weaning of her kidding group, and also has an irresistibly sweet nature, making her one of my favorite '23 kids. Alder has been bred to herd sire FPR Hawthorn's Saffron for her first kidding in January 2025.

I'm relieved that nobody snatched her up before I could change my mind because this one just keeps getting better by the day. Chiffon has been bred to LPR Northwind for January kids.

I don't know how I keep lucking out, but Starla is one of my most valuable investments to date. Starla is the first doeling EVER to be sold out of 9-year-old doe TNT Twilight Y191.  Every other doeling born to this epic doe has been retained by the breeder at Da'Did Farms, and sadly, she passed earlier this year.  As Starla grows out, I can see why these genetics are so sought after... at her 9 month health check, Starla outweighed every other '23 doeling by as much as 28 lbs, with a weight of 97.6 lbs!  This girl's pedigree is loaded with the biggest names in the industry; WSU Goliath's Keeper, CCR Moose 928, SWL Terminator's XX, CGI Shogun, PJM Copyright Tough FO589, ELH Blue's Son, RMC Showdown to name a few.

Magic will get to prove herself in 2025 when bred to Northwind.

Every herd needs a doe like Bianca. She's a rock, a calm presence amongst the otherwise spirited, sometimes explosive personalities that surround her. She was raised with love and affection from her breeders at Horns & Thorns Farms and as a result, she's the one that gets to welcome new members of the herd and keep weanlings' company when they've just been separated from their mommas. Miss B is indispensable for maintaining a pleasant herd dynamic. With her pleasing confirmation, she'll cross well with any herd sire I pair her with. I'm excited to prove Bianca in 2025.

She's one of my favorite 2023 models and I can't wait to see what she produces for me next spring when bred to DDF Smoking Gun. I anticipate their kids will be big, BIG, BIG!

I feel extremely fortunate to have been given the opportunity to add Kimono to my herd. I was blessed to have owned her paternal granddam who raised her last set of kids, triplets, unassisted and with a perfect udder structure still, at the age of 12! Kimono's sire Gunderhorn, has passed on that legacy to his offspring who are getting harder and harder to come by. Kimono has size and length, and had produced two sets of triplets for her breeder before I was able to acquire her. Now it's time to see what she can do for me when crossed with Smoking Gun for March kids.

Senior doe Gracie is a bruit! At 170 lbs, she's one of the biggest kiko does you'll come across. Despite her age, Gracie has years of production ahead of her; coming from a breeder who's goats regularly produce healthy kids into their teens. Productive longevity is something we shouldn't lose sight of in the kiko breed... Gracie is an asset to my program and the breed standard. I'm excited to pair her up with Brass Tacks this fall for January '25 kids.

From the one picture I saw of Nautica prior to purchasing her, I was not convinced I'd be impressed. However, her statistics spoke for themselves and I knew I'd be getting a productive, maternal brood doe with good growth and proven genetics. When I laid eyes on her though, I fell in love! As it turns out, Nautica is a large, fleshy doe with a calm, inquisitive demeanor and I'm beyond excited to pair her with herd sire, FPR Hawthorn's Saffron for 2025 kids.

Nepal is no exception, having never been vaccinated, dewormed, supplemented or coddled (prior to coming here). I feel fortunate to have added this lovely girl to my program.

Chewie, as I call her (because I have two "Friday's" in the herd), is just 21 days younger than my oldest doe.  She's got a lifetime of experience doing exactly what she was meant to do, with zero pampering or intervention. Chewie was retired from her breeder's program due in part to his desire to phase out of the goat business, but also to allow her to finish out her career with a few more amenities than she's accustomed to. Chewie is not a big girl, but she comes from some of Lookout Point Ranch's biggest and best genetics. She will be the only LPR doe bred to my LPR buck Northwind.

I'm not in the business of breeding percentage kiko goats, so if I decide to keep one around, you'd better bet there's a good reason! Tango is one of the few '22 doelings that I just couldn't part with.  As a quad doeling with a 0.46 ADG, I'd be a fool to let her go. Additionally, Tango had her first set twins by FPR Hawthorn's Saffron on 3/7/24 and the buckling out of these twins was my top gaining kid EVER. Tango is full of sass and is imposable to contain (she can, and will, jump 4 feet flat footed) but she's worth all the headaches and quirks!
